Red Clam Chowder

Red Clam Chowder

3 cups diced potato
1 1/2 cups onions, chopped
2 cups chopped clams, fresh or canned
1/2 cup clam juice
4 cups Clamato juice
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 lb. bacon, chopped


Directions:

Cook bacon lightly. Add chopped onions and cook until transparent. Add juices, potatoes, salt and pepper. Cook until potatoes are just tender. Add clams and thyme and cook until potatoes are done.
